The evidence base for youth anxiety and OCD was built in large NIH-funded trials. I helped build it as treatment author, lead trainer, and Co-Principal Investigator.
CAMS: CBT, medication, or both?
Walkup et al. (2008), New England Journal of Medicine. Children rated much or very much improved after 12 weeks.
Child/Adolescent Anxiety Multimodal Study (CAMS): treatment protocol author, lead trainer, and supervisor. Combined treatment helped four in five children improve.
Pediatric OCD Treatment Study and the Family-Based Treatment of Early Childhood OCD Study: Co-Principal Investigator, with lead responsibility for training and quality assurance.
